MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Monona Police Department is investigating after a bullet struck a vehicle in a drive-by shooting Wednesday night, officials reported Thursday.
According to the MOPD, officers responded just before 9 p.m. to the 2200 block of W. Broadway for reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a bullet hit the driver’s side of a vehicle that was heading westbound on Broadway.
MOPD stated the driver was not hurt.
Upon further investigating, police believe the shooting started from one or more vehicles traveling eastbound on Broadway.
On Thursday morning, officers searched the area where the shooting happened and found a bullet hit an apartment building in the 2200 block of W. Broadway in the City of Madison.
