MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A viral traffic stop is raising questions about law enforcement practices, social media policies and what can happen when your job is tied to the federal government.
A former Transportation Security Administration employee, who asked to be identified only as Kris, said one moment on the road cost her more than just her job.
The video, which has received thousands of views and comments, shows Kris being arrested by a state trooper near Memphis International Airport.
“I was trying to figure out why he wanted me to step out, and he would not tell me,” Kris said. “And since I didn't know that they could ask you to step out at any time, I refused until he told me the reason why.”
