HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A man from Holyoke was arrested after police seized more than 50 bags of heroin/fentanyl during a drug deal.
In a news release by the Holyoke Police Department, on Thursday at around 8 a.m., a detective was conducting an unrelated investigation when they observed suspected drug activity in the area of Main and Spring Streets.
Additional detectives were called in to assist and pulled over a vehicle that left the area. They seized 12 bags of heroin/fentanyl.
When the detectives returned to the alleyway near 305 Main Street, they located the suspected drug dealer, identified as 40-year-old Felix Gonzalez of Holyoke. Police seized 52 bags of heroin/fentanyl inside an altered vape pen.
