NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A Norwalk man was arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot somebody from his car at Calf Pasture Beach on Thursday, which led to the discovery of 4.8 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle.
Norwalk police received multiple 911 calls about a disturbance at the beach around 11:25 a.m., involving a vehicle driving erratically and threatening to shoot another motorist.
Police located the BMW X1 on Canfield Avenue and identified the driver as 37-year-old Alexander Freedman, who they detained while conducting an investigation.
Witnesses told police that Freedman was speeding, driving recklessly and performing donuts in the parking lot. When an individual approached him, he threatened to shoot them with a gun from inside the vehicle, according to witnesses.
