Fire crews Friday responded to a fire inside a commercial building in Inglewood.

The blaze was reported on West Century Boulevard near Hawthorne Boulevard at around 10:29 a.m..

Within minutes, the fire was declared a second alarm fire, requiring fire crews to ask for additional units due to the seriousness of the fire.

NBCLA crews at the scene heard what sounded like a huge explosion at around 12 noon.

No injuries were reported.
