KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Get your fishing rods ready for a "reel" good time with the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) for their "Fish or Treat" event on Saturday, October 25.

The department will be hosting a fishing event with Halloween flair as they offer fishing activities, fish-themed games and prizes fit for everyone in the family.

Activities are open for both children and adults and anyone looking to fish will be allowed to at the Education Pond at the Burr Oak Woods Nature Center.

Fishing permits are not required to fish during the event, according to the MDC.

Those looking to attend can register for the event online before Saturday, October 25.
