KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The man who led Cass County deputies on a chase earlier this week has been charged, court records show.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office said, on Wednesday, deputies attempted to stop a car with a stolen license plate just south of Harrisonville, Missouri. The man driving, later identified as 39-year-old David Wilson of Warrensburg, Missouri, fled from deputies north on I-49.
Wilson got off the interstate at Harrisonville, continuing through the city and heading north on Rock Haven Road at 291 Highway.
It was then that deputies tried to stop the vehicle Wilson was driving with a grappler device, but Wilson headed through the median and continued north on I-49 again.
Later during the pursuit, Wilson tried passing another vehicle south of J Highway in Peculiar, Missour
