NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department has arrested a third suspect in connection with an alleged sexual assault and attempted prostitution of a minor.

Christine Wallace, 56, is charged with promoting the prostitution of a minor.

Two other suspects who were previously arrested in the case, Renard Karji Deveaux, 48, who is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, second-degree assault and battery and possession of cocaine and Amber Lee McClure, 40, who is charged with promoting prostitution, according to jail records.

Police said Deveaux had outstanding arrest warrants from the Berkeley and Clarendon County Sheriff’s Offices. Both suspects were booked into the Charleston County Jail.
