Sections of Sandwich Road, between Brick Kiln and Teaticket Highway, will be closed to through traffic due to water main construction, starting Monday, October 27. Drivers are advised to find alternative routes through the area between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM.

This traffic detour is anticipated to last ten business days (weather permitting) and be completed by day's end on November 5.

The work involves the construction company digging across the roadway to install new water services to each home and business along the section of road.

Local traffic will have access from either Brick Kiln Road at Sandwich Road or Teaticket Highway at Sandwich Road.

The starting closure location will at 240 Sandwich Road, and crews will work south towards Teaticket Highway.
