RAMSEY COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A driver has been charged with DUI after running into a van carrying a college basketball team and then crashing in Ramsey County.

According to a release from North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 2004 Infiniti FX35 and a 2019 Chevy Express Van were driving west on Highway 2 near mile marker 284.

The Infiniti, being driven by a 38-year-old Devils Lake woman, struck the rear of the van, entered the median, rolled, and came to a rest in the median.

The van, which had ten members of the Lake Region College Basketball team in it at the time, came to a stop. None of them were injured.

The driver of the infinity was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with serious injuries and is now being charged with DUI. The crash remains under investigation by the Nor
