A stabbing at a Walmart in Savannah , Georgia, left an 18-year-old injured, according to Chatham County police.
Just before 6 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the Walmart at 4725 U.S. Hwy 80 after an 18-year-old was found with multiple stab wounds and lacerations. He was transported to the hospital, where he remains as of Friday evening.
The investigation revealed that a 49-year-old man was exiting the Walmart with his shopping cart, when the 18-year-old allegedly kicked the shopping cart as he passed by. An altercation began that resulted in the 18-year-old being severely injured.
Chatham County police said detectives are conducting a detailed and thorough investigation. Police have talked with the 49-year-old man involved, as well as other witnesses.
