ALVATON, KY.- Farm Credit Mid-America and the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club are teaming up to host Farm Day, a free community event celebrating and promoting the future of agriculture.

“What we’re trying to do is help the community — and really the kids of our community — understand more about agriculture and the impact it has on their everyday life,” said Rod Hutcheson, president of the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club.

The event will feature hands-on learning experiences designed to make education both fun and memorable. Children will have the opportunity to interact with farm animals, explore agricultural exhibits and learn where their food comes from.
