Kolkata: Urban Company’s IPO had a strong subscription and a robust listing. The listing took place on September 17 and the listing price was Rs 162.25 on NSE and Rs 161 on BSE — a significant premium of more than 57% above its issue price of Rs 103. The shares ended the day of listing at Rs 169, which marked a 64% higher level from the issue price.

On Friday, October 25, the Urban Company shares were trading at Rs 147.59, down Rs 4.32 (or 2.84%). Though the decline has been sharp, the price is still above the issue price.
