• Pontiac’s Super Run Club hosts “Day of the Dead” 5K Fun Run to benefit the Pontiac Creative Art Center, 9 a.m. Nov. 1, at Pontiac Creative Art Center, 47 Williams St., Pontiac. The fundraiser is non-timed and open to all ages and paces. Coffee and Mexican treats from local Shelia’s Bakery will await finishers and first glimpse of the PCAC’s Community Ofrenda and Dia de los Muertos Art Exhibition which runs from noon until 5 p.m. with a candlelight vigil to honor loved ones.
