FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) - Two people were seriously injured in a single vehicle crash along Cloverdale Road Saturday morning.

According to Florence Police, the crash happened at around 5:50 AM and involved both occupants of the vehicle. Florence Fire and Rescue said both people sustained serious injuries and were airlifted for treatment.

Traffic along Cloverdale Road was temporarily rerouted. All lanes are back open.
