YOUNGSTOWN - Youngstown State University's Homecoming Parade is set to kick off in downtown Youngstown at 11:45 a.m. Saturday October 25.

The university's newly expanded parade route will include downtown Youngstown this year and will begin at Federal Street and Wick Avenue. Parade-participants will travel west from there to 5th Avenue, eventually making it to the East Bound Service Road near Stambaugh Stadium.

The parade's total route will reach just over a mile.

Parade-goers will be able to witness a performance by YSU's Marching Pride band along with floats decorated by the local community, current YSU students and university alumni.
