Two people were killed and 11 others wounded after a mass shooting at a large weekend party in southeastern North Carolina. According to Robeson County Sheriff Burnis Wilkins, officers were called to a rural property on Dixon Drive, just outside Maxton, early on Saturday morning. In total, 13 people were shot, with several in critical condition. “There is no current threat to the community as this appears to have been an isolated incident,” the sheriff’s office said.
