The North Carolina Tar Heels football team plays the Virginia Cavaliers in Week 9 of the 2025 college football season on Saturday, Oct. 25 (Noon, ACC Network ) at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill.

Bill Belichick 's Tar Heels (2-4, 0-2 ACC) and the 16th-ranked Cavaliers (6-1, 3-0) are meeting for the 130th time in the "South's Oldest Rivalry," which started in 1892. UNC has a 67-58-4 advantage in the all-time series, with wins in three of the last four games, including a 41-14 win in Charlottesville last season.
