The Wolfshager Hexenbrut Dancing Witches aren’t actually witches. They don’t even know how to practice witchcraft. What they do enjoy is performing for others, dressing up and having fun at festivals, events and gathering places throughout the eastern Upper Peninsula and other parts of the state.
Founded by Kandy Radtke in 2017, the “dancing witches” were formed in the likeness of a dancing group in Germany that Radtke stumbled upon while surfing YouTube. That particular group displayed the type of attitude that Radtke found impossible to ignore.
