A fresh hacking threat that could lead to data theft has prompted a warning to all iPhone users. TikTok user @PainfullyHonestNews, known for his scam alerts, demonstrated in a video how to avoid falling prey to this issue.
He advised Apple device users to go to the Settings section to check if one particular setting is set to 'Automatic' - as this makes it "easy" for hackers to target you. The TikTok user explained: "In Settings, search for 'AirPlay'. This is a function that allows you to wirelessly stream content such as videos and music from your mobile phone to other AirPlay-compatible devices including smart TVs and Mac computers.
