NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Some big changes are coming to WeGo this January as part of the next step in Mayor Freddie O’Connell’s “Choose How You Move” plan.

The system changes will include frequency improvements, expanded hours of service and an additional WeGo Link zone. WeGo said these changes reflect community and customer feedback.

Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.

The goal is to make the bus system more accessible and affordable, starting with expanded service hours.

Buses will run longer on nearly two dozen routes, and buses will come more frequently, decreasing from every 15 minutes to 10 minutes or every 30 minutes to 20 minutes. The exact timing will depend on the necessity.

Sunday service hours will also expand to match weekday hours.
