TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Tucson Police Department says a suspect is hospitalized after an officer-involved shooting.

The TPD says it started as an armed robbery in the 8600 block of East Old Spanish Trail.

The condition of the suspect is not known but the Tucson Police Department says no other injuries were reported.

Police say The Pima Regional Critical Incident Team has been notified to investigate.

This was the tenth officer-involved shooting in southern Arizona this year.
