The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 1:50 p.m. on Saturday in effect until 8 p.m. for Central Douglas County, Eastern Curry County and Josephine County, Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.

The weather service adds to anticipate, “Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result,” states the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
