Capitalizing on two pick-6s, the Queen’s Gaels trounced the McMaster 46-10 at Ricardson Stadium Saturday afternoon in first-round OUA action.

With the win, the fourth-seeded Gaels will head to Windsor to face the third-seeded Lancers next Saturday. The two teams met last week to wind up their regular seasons, with Windsor coming from behind late in the fourth quarter to beat the Gaels 31-28.

Form went out the window in the OUA football playoffs Saturday, when Guelph went into London and scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns in a titanic 18-17 upset of the Western Mustangs, who just a week ago had been U Sports’ second-ranked team in the country and finished 7-1.
