TIFFIN — Maumee’s Teagan Kennedy beat out Southview’s Juliette Turner for the top individual finish, and a total of three Toledo-area teams qualified for state at Saturday’s Division II region held in Hedges Boyer Park.

Kennedy won the race with a time of 17:52.93, while Turner came in second at 18:05.09.

The team from Lexington finished first overall with a collective score of 56. Other qualifying teams from the area were St. Ursula which was runner-up (122) and Southview in third (128). Local teams that missed on qualifying but placed in the top 10 were Notre Dame in fifth (170), Northview sixth (181), Maumee seventh (198), Bowling Green eighth (221), Anthony Wayne ninth (228), and Fremont Ross 10th (244).
