CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The Hawkeyes dominated Saturday’s rivalry game against Minnesota from start to finish.

The Hawkeyes started fast against the Golden Gophers and held a 17-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

By halftime, they had extended the lead to 31-0, and spent the second half on cruise control as they manhandled Minnesota for a dominating 41-3 win.

Quarterback Mark Gronowski completed 12 of 19 passing attempts for 135 yards and 1 touchdown.

Kamari Moulton led the ground attack for Iowa, rushing 75 yards on 15 attempts.
