INDIANAPOLIS — A driver crashed into an apartment on the north side of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post from the Indianapolis Fire Department, first responders were called to an apartment in the 2000 block of Amerherst Drive — which is located off of West 71st Street — around 1:05 p.m. When IFD crews arrived at the scene, they located a vehicle that had been crashed into an apartment.

IFD reported that the apartment's occupant was not home at the time of the crash. The driver of the crashed vehicle was checked out by medics at the scene and released, according IFD.
