ALLEN COUNTY, Indiana — Police say a juvenile was hospitalized with "life-threatening" injuries after an early Saturday morning crash in northeastern Indiana .

According to a release from the Allen County Sheriff's Department , around 1:36 a.m. on Oct. 25, deputies were called to Roth Road, just south of State Road 1 , in northeastern Allen County on a report of a crash involving an electric bicycle and a pickup truck.

When deputies arrived on scene, they reportedly found a Ford F-150 and an electric bicycle had crashed just "a few hundred yards" south of State Road 1.

According to a preliminary investigation, a juvenile riding an electric bicycle and a male driving a F-150 were both traveling northbound on Roth Road. Police say the driver of the F-150 reportedly attempted to move over
