MICHIGAN CENTER – Hanover-Horton has rarely found itself even within sight of the top of the Cascades Conference in football.

The Comets entered Saturday’s conference championship game with zero league titles in program history, with only a handful of seasons even close to the pinnacle, most notably last year when Hanover-Horton fell to Leslie in the championship game.
