PHOENIX — Arizona Republican Party Chair Gina Swoboda announced that she will step down from her position in January to focus on her congressional campaign.
Swoboda said Monday on social media that she is running for the state’s 1st Congressional District (CD1) in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Her successor as Arizona’s Republican Party Chair will likely be chosen at the next mandatory Republican meeting on Jan. 24.
