Numerous people have been shot at Lincoln University in southern Chester County on Saturday night.

The gunfire began about 9:30 p.m. and was in the area of the Internationals Cultural Center.

The Chester County DA’s office issued this statement:

“The Chester County District Attorney’s Office is aware of a shooting with multiple victims that occurred at Lincoln University this evening. Law enforcement has responded to the scene and are actively investigating. Please avoid the area at this time.”

Eric Roe, a Chester County commissioner issued this statement:

“Please join me in praying for the students and faculty of Lincoln University, as well as the brave members of law enforcement on the scene. It appears there has been a mass shooting there tonight.”
