Ervin Hanover saved the best for last, winning the $822,000 Breeders Crown open pace at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Driven by Dexter Dunn, Ervin Hanover started near the top and eventually made that spot just before the half. He started to sprint away, getting to the three-quarter pole in 1:20. No one came close to him in the stretch as he powered away to an easy win in 1:46 2/5, bettering the Mohawk record by two-fifths of a second. Article content Article content
