Playing and coaching in a regional for the first time in their lives was quite the experience for the Bloomington South volleyball team.

The Panthers took big steps this season, but left Bloomington North High School knowing they need to take one more to hang at an elite level.

"Castle is a winning team, and they know how to win," South coach Emma Abplanalp said. "And that's an advantage. We don't know how to win. So, it's building that culture of winning.

"The girls, we got to be here tonight and we're so grateful for that, but we want more. We're hungry for it and it shows us that we're capable of this play and we should be here again."
