ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The Red River Rivalry between LSUA and LCU is among the fiercest in all of Cenla sports. Both the men’s and women’s teams for the Generals and Wildcats each took the pitch on Saturday, October 25, with hopes of claiming the Salad Bowl Trophy.

LCU vs LSUA Women:

The Generals cleaned house in this game, scoring 6 goals. LSUA had 17 shots with 13 on goal compared to just 3 total shots with one on goal for LCU.

Both Alexia Bermerjo Jo and Sara Escribano scored twice in the match. Bermerjo Jo now totals 11 goals on the season, with Escribano trailing right behind with 10.

Audrian Cruz and Linnea Lundstroem each scored once for the Generals.
