BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. —

The Beaver County coroner was called to the scene of a crash along the Pennsylvania Turnpike early Sunday morning.

It happened in the westbound lanes in the Beaver Valley, New Castle area, near the Careywood and Shenango intersection. Advertisement

It's unclear how many vehicles were involved, but county dispatchers told Action News 4 that a semi-truck was believed to have been a part of the crash.

According to PennDOT's website, 511, the incident was reported around 2 a.m.

The road was restricted to one lane while crews were investigating in the area. However, both lanes have since reopened.

The Beaver County coroner later told Action News 4 that Abdirahman Farah, 35, of Ohio, died as a result of the crash. The incident has been ruled accidental.
