LEE COUNTY, S.C. — A truck driver has died following a crash in Lee County on Saturday night.

Master Trooper Brandon Bolt with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on S.C. Highway 341 near Longbranch Road. Bolt said a 2025 Volvo tractor-trailer was heading south on the highway when it went off the right side of the road and hit a power pole.

The driver was the only occupant and died following the crash. Bolt deferred to the Lee County Coroner's Office for additional information about the victim and added that the South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
