COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two men were sentenced Friday for the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy in southeast Columbus last year, according to Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Shayla Favor.
The prosecutor's office said 46-year-old Angelo Bowers Jr. pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter with firearm and repeat violent offender specifications. He was sentenced to an indefinite prison term, with a minimum of 20 to 25.5 years.
Roy Hairston, 66, pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and attempted tampering with evidence. He was sentenced to 20 months in jail.
