COLUMBUS, Ohio — NSI Food Pantry is celebrating community, delicious food and the generosity that powers NSI’s work throughout the year at this year’s "Dishin’ for Hunger 2025."
Last year, NSI provided 1.1 million meals to more than 82,000 individuals and the need isn't stop there.
As the government shutdown continues, Executive Director Martin Butler said demand for services is increasing as resources from the government are depleting.
“All the money that comes from this directly goes to purchasing food and items that people need in the winter months," Bulter said. "This year we need it more than ever."
Sunday’s event is sold out, but volunteers and donations are always encouraged.
