EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — State police in Monroe County are looking for a man they said drew a handgun at a Halloween party near East Stroudsburg on Friday and shot a 16-year-old girl, troopers said Sunday.

The girl, who was not identified by the state police, was hospitalized following the gunfire on Carillon Drive in Smithfield Township. She is expected to survive.

The person who shot her was identified as Unique Kaheem Johnson. He is wanted on an arrest warrant charging attempted homicide.

Another man who investigators said was involved in the shooting, Benjamin Carl Booth, has already been arrested for attempted homicide.
