The New York Jets are 0-7, but it might not be the worst feeling now. The seven-time Pro Bowl and two-time First Team All-Pro Nick Mangold passed away at the age of 41. The team announced on Sunday.

He tragically passed away after complications from chronic kidney disease. Only 12 days before his passing, he opened up about his need for a kidney transplant as he revealed that he’s been battling a rare genetic kidney disorder since 2006.

Over his 11-year career, he played 176 games. A true ironman for the team. He was rightfully honoured with a spot in the Jets’ Ring of Honour back in 2022.

This is a developing story, stay tuned for more!
