LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Detectives with the Lexington Police Department are searching Preston’s Spring Park Friday as part of an ongoing missing persons investigation.

In a post on social media, police said there is no threat to the public, but detectives will remain in the area until the search is complete.

While the investigation is underway, Preston’s Spring Park will be closed to the public.

No additional details about the missing person case have been released at this time.
