1STAMFORD, CT – A swift response from the Stamford Fire Department Marine Unit helped rescue a man suffering a medical emergency aboard a charter fishing vessel just outside Stamford Harbor Saturday morning.
The call came in at approximately 9:44 a.m. for a 90-foot party fishing boat near Mid Sound Buoy 32A.
Firefighters aboard Marine Unit 236 reached the vessel and began treatment immediately after making contact.
