The It prequel series, It: Welcome to Derry , is debuting tonight on HBO Max!

Set in the world of Stephen King ’s It universe, It: Welcome to Derry is based on King ’s “IT” novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films It and It Chapter Two .

So far, we know of 2 people returning from the 2017 and 2019 horror film series. In addition, numerous stars have been cast in leads in the new series.

The series contains 8 episodes and will release a new ep every Sunday night until the finale airs on December 14, 2025.
