Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins (10) scores a touchdown during the second half against the Miami Dolphins at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland on Oct. 19, 2025.

Quinshon Judkins has been one of the lone bright spots for a struggling Cleveland Browns offense.

While the defense steals the shows for Kevin Stefanski's team, it has been the rookie running back powering the offense. He hasn't been as effective in Week 8, however, as the Patriots have held him in check with nine carries for just 19 yards before exiting.

Judkins was coming off a three touchdown performance in Week 7 and looking for an encore. Now there are questions about his availability for the remainder of the game.

Here's the latest on Judkins.

Quinshon Judkins injury update

Judkins has been ruled out with a shoulder injury.

The running back was originally questionable to return after leaving the game. It's unclear when the issue popped up for the rookie.

New England built a big lead in the second half, but it wasn't apparent whether Judkins' absence was related to the big deficit on the scoreboard.

Browns RB depth chart

  • Quinshon Judkins
  • Jerome Ford
  • Dylan Sampson

Judkins is the unquestioned RB1 in Cleveland's room, while Ford is the veteran presence that serves as a receiving back. The other rookie in the room, Sampson, has taken a back seat after Judkins returned, leaving him on the outside looking in.
