World Series Game 2 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays was more of a war than a baseball game. It was nothing more than chaos at the Rogers Centre on Saturday, October 25.
When George Springer faced Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, the Blue Jays’ designated hitter had to see stars under the floodlights. Facing a 96 mph fastball, the 36-year-old was in splits when it hit his left wrist.
Springer fell face-first on the ground like Roman Reigns hit a superman punch on his face. Soon after, Blue Jays manager John Schneider and head athletic trainer Jose Ministral enter the field to check on their star outfielder.
