Angelique S. Chengelis of The Detroit News shares three takeaways from Michigan's 31-20 win over Michigan State.
▶ The good, the bad and the ugly.
There were some good things about Michigan’s offense in the win against Michigan State, namely the run game, as the Wolverines had two backs rush for more than 100 yards apiece. Justice Haynes returned after missing the previous six quarters with injury and had 152 yards on 26 carries (5.8 per carry) and two touchdowns, and Jordan Marshall rushed for 110 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown run. Michigan finished with 276 rushing yards and four touchdowns, including a 13-yard score from freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood.
