BARBOURVILLE — The Knox Fiscal Court met for its regular monthly session last Wednesday — when magistrates handled a number of seasonal and infrastructure-related agenda items including trick-or-treat scheduling, grant opportunities and ongoing construction projects.
Judge Executive Mike Mitchell also announced that Knox County had secured a fire suppression defense planning grant, which was one of only eight such awards across Kentucky.
