Strictly Come Dancing star Lauren Oakley has broken her silence on her and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s exit from the series as fans said they were ‘robbed’.

Viewers of the BBC dancing competition were left stunned on Sunday (October 26) as former footballer Jimmy and professional dancer Lauren were sent home from the programme.

The exit arriced despite the duo receiving their highest score to date during icons week for their American Smooth to Purple Rain by Prince, which the judges gave a score of 30 out of 40 points on Saturday night (October 25).

Icons week ended with Jimmy and Lauren competing in their first dance-off against Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin , who scored 33 points for Cha Cha Cha to Break Free by Ariana Grande.
