CLEVELAND — Cavaliers starting small forward De'Andre Hunter will make his regular-season debut on Oct. 26 against the Milwaukee Bucks , the Cavs announced.
The matchup with the Bucks is also Cleveland's 2025-26 regular-season home opener .
Hunter missed the first two games of the regular season with a right knee contusion he suffered Oct. 14 in Cleveland's preseason finale against the Detroit Pistons .
The injury occurred when Hunter and Pistons forward Tobias Harris knocked knees while Hunter attempted to draw a charge.
A trade acquisition last season from the Atlanta Hawks, Hunter has been the Cavs' projected starter at small forward since Max Strus underwent offseason foot surgery. When Hunter missed the first two games this season, Jaylon Tyson started.
