HENRY Co., Ill. (KWQC) - A man was arrested after driving 149 miles per hour on I-74, according to deputies.
Brenden A. Ballard, 24 of Upper Marlboro Massachusetts, was charged with two counts of speeding and reckless driving, according to Henry County deputies.
Deputies attempted to stop Ballard just after 3:30 Sunday morning near mile marker 17, but he kept driving.
Ballard continued into Knox County and Henry County deputies had to stop at the county line and ask for assistance from other agencies.
Knox County deputies found Ballard and arrested him.
Ballard was taken to the Henry County Jail.
